Shipping and Inventory Co-ordinator

As part of the Shipping and Inventory team, this role is responsible for managing all aspects of the inbound supply chain—from purchase orders and shipping to site deliveries and container returns. You’ll also oversee the inventory system, including receipting, unit costing, cycle counts, and maintaining product SKUs. You will have accountability, ownership, and responsibility for your role. You will manage day-to-day shipping and inventory functions, ensuring control of inbound product schedules and effective stock maintenance. This role of Shipping and Inventory Co-ordinator is busy and varied; your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Place and confirm all stock orders with international suppliers
  • Manage the daily shipping schedule, liaising with shipping agents, suppliers and ports to coordinate efficient and on-time logistics
  • Maintain and lodge accurate shipping documentation for freight-forwarder, customs and MPI
  • Stakeholder engagement with port, freight-forwarders, customs and MPI
  • Accurately receipt all inbound products, monitoring effects on unit costs
  • Maintain inventory system and administer cycle count processes
  • Streamline processes within in bound logistics operations
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve
