This High School whose focus is the students, parents, and community provide a planned approach to each child’s education giving them the skills, knowledge, and confidence to prepare for their adult life and career – in whatever pathway is right for them. They provide several learning opportunities to students to assist them with their career development, including Services Academy courses.
The role of Services Academy Director is well suited to a qualified Teacher with a background in the army, navy, air force, police, customs, or the territorials. It is not a pre-requisite that you are a qualified teacher, you do need a background in the army, navy, air force, police, customs, or territorials.
As Services Academy Director you will co-ordinate, deliver, and be responsible for the development and functioning of the Services Academy courses to years 10 to 13. You will assist each student to reach their potential and be part of a team that works collectively to initiate and develop the academy. You will be part of the Physical Education and Health team, being led by a fantastic Head of Department.
