Regional Talent Acquisition Manager

The Regional Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for driving the talent strategy across New Zealand to ensure a pipeline of teachers and support staff for vacant roles as they arise and for the succession planning of key positions. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Stakeholder engagement to understand the talent and recruitment needs to develop effective recruitment and succession plans
- Map and oversee the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes and initiate changes to enhance the candidate experience.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external talent acquisition partners to expand the talent pool and access specialised skills within the education field.
- Partner and drive marketing campaigns to enhance talent attraction and engagement.
- Execute recruitment campaigns and manage candidate expectations.
- Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.
- Update and maintain the HRIS system
- Build and manage talent pools of passive and active candidates through database mining, networking, and strategic sourcing.
- Provide trusted advice to hiring managers and the business around market conditions, remuneration, recruitment strategies, challenges and expected outcomes.
- Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders to effectively plan, understand and execute hiring needs by coaching and supporting them with candidate selection, interviewing and decision making.
- Keep up to date with external trends and developments and innovations in recruitment processes and tools.
To be successful in this Regional Talent Acquisition Manager role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a senior-level recruitment role, 5 years plus experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of sourcing and recruitment methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in utilising technology solutions and recruitment tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proven experience operating efficiently, proactively and relatively autonomously in a busy, hands-on role.
