The Property Manager shall ensure that the land, buildings, and chattels of this leading High School are maintained to a high standard and cover all criteria pertaining to safety, hygiene, security, and presentation. You will lead and manage a team of 12 who collectively work well together. The very strong staff stability and low staff turnover reflects great leadership and commitment of this senior leadership team.
The role of Property Manager is multifaceted; everyday will offer its own unique challenges and point of difference. The range of duties and responsibilities will incorporate:
- Long-term property maintenance
- Preventative maintenance
- School cleanliness and hygiene
- Minor capital works
- Grounds
- Property and Café Staff supervision
- Security
- Hazards management, Warrant of fitness
- Resource management and equipment maintenance
- Reporting
- Trouble shoot and problem solve
- Project work
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Budget and costing management
- Contractor and sub-contractor management
To be successful in this role you will have proven property management experience and be a natural born leader who builds lasting rapport and relationships with everyone you come in contact with. You will also be good at multi-tasking, think outside the square creating innovative solutions, be forward thinking, resourceful, proactive, responsible, driven, and motivated.
