Payroll Administrator
- Mt Wellington, Auckland
- Permanent - Full Time
Based in Mt Wellington with off street parking and working within a close-knit team, this is a self-managing role where a weekly pay schedule is processed Monday to Friday. This role will be a six-month contract with the potential to be extended. Pay per hour depends on your level of experience. You will have a solid knowledge of the New Zealand payroll legislation with a good eye for detail.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Processing waged and salaried payrolls (500+ employee’s) sole-charge and end-to-end using Comacc
- Ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently and correctly
- Prepare, balance & reconcile Payroll, PAYE, ACC, Kiwisaver and other deductions where necessary
- Resolving payroll discrepancies
- Solid understanding of the NZ Payroll Legislation
- Maintain the filing of payroll documentation
- Administration support to surrounding teams

You will possess the following attributes, skills and experience:
- Previous high-volume payroll experience of 4 years
- Comacc experience essential
- Excellent excel and data entry skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be available to start immediately
- Highly organised and able to work under pressure
- Great written and oral communication skills
