We are seeking an efficient and energetic Executive Assistant to support the General Manager and Board of a Māori Trust organisation. You will be working with a professional and highly committed team who provides a broad range of primarily Māori social and environment initiatives along with various commercial investments.
As a seasoned Executive Assistant, you will bring proven experience supporting an Executive and Board. You will have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, speak Te Reo, with the ability to solve problems and read between the lines. Additionally, you will have a strong sense of initiative and intuitiveness and be skilled at anticipating, removing, and diverting obstacles with the goal of always being one step ahead of the game, keeping the GM and Board briefed, prepared, and organised.
From calendar and email management, handling confidential matters, event management, meeting preparation including Board meetings and minutes, to engaging with internal and external stakeholders, it’s down to you as the Executive Assistant to ensure the smooth running of each day in an ever-changing environment.
You will be juggling multiple tasks whilst always remaining on top of your game. This is a busy and challenging role which requires someone to hit the ground running with a natural flare for being highly organised, always one step ahead and has an understanding of Te Reo Māori.
