Administration Assistant

Based in the offices of a well-established furniture company in Onehunga, this is a busy role that is sure to keep you on your toes; and varied, so no two days will be the same.

The tasks and duties involved in this role are:

  • Reception duties – First point of contact
  • Assist with the smooth running of the office
  • Organise various staff functions and events
  • Support the sales team with admin duties
  • Organise couriers and deliveries
  • Book meetings, and set up meeting rooms
  • Order and replenish stationary and supplies
  • Facilities – ensure everything in the office is working
  • Ad hoc administration duties

Skills and experience required for this role are:

  • Previously worked in a busy administration role
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be confident using Microsoft Office, and learning new systems
  • Ability to work well in a team environment under minimal supervision
  • Professionalism, a positive attitude and a great work ethic
  • Have a warm, welcoming nature
  • Great organisational and communication skills
  • Be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident
