This role is renowned as the ‘go-to person’—the one who makes things happen, has their finger on the pulse, and knows what is going on around them. To succeed in this Executive Assistant role, you will need an exceptionally sharp eye for detail, be quick-thinking, astute, and business-savvy, demonstrate good initiative, and be intuitive, with strong prioritization skills and the inherent ability to multitask a busy workload. Having worked at the C-suite level within the professional services sector will position you for success in this role.
You will be the dedicated resource to the CEO and SLT. Being their right-hand person, together you will work across the business undertaking a comprehensive range of functions. It will be down to you as the Executive Assistant to ensure the smooth running of each day in a dynamic ever-changing environment. Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist and support the CEO and SLT; being their right-hand person, undertaking and managing day-to-day administrative functions allowing them to focus on strategic matters
- Comprehensive diary, email, expense, and travel management
- Prepare and attend meetings, take minutes, follow up action points (board meetings and senior leadership team meetings)
- Take an active involvement within the business, contributing to discussions and decisions
- Conduct research and analysis specific topics to support strategic discussions
- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, reports, communications, documents and board packs
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure the executives operate smoothly, efficiently, and effectively
- Handle confidential information
- Trouble shoot and problem solve (go to person)
